One measurement is a snapshot. Measure again, and you see the direction. With your health profile from last time, you and we can see whether your blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar and fitness are moving the right way.
According to the Danish patient handbook, 20-25% of adults have high blood pressure, and most notice nothing. Those are the numbers an annual check picks up.
The more measurements, the greater the chance of a value slightly outside the normal range that means nothing for your health. That is why we always explain your numbers in context - and only recommend follow-up with your own GP when there is a reason to.
We do not make diagnoses or carry out investigations. If you have symptoms, start with your own GP.
NurseCare offers the full health check at the clinic at Rømersgade 3 in Copenhagen K: a Large health check (40 minutes), a fitness test (VO2 max), a mole check with a dermatologist's assessment and the basic blood test package in one visit of about an hour - without a referral. Measurements are carried out by experienced healthcare professionals.
