A health check from NurseCare is a health examination that a nurse carries out for your employees directly at your workplace. NurseCare offers health checks to large and small companies throughout Denmark.

What you get with a health check
Body composition analysis and physiological measurements
The employee has a body composition analysis that measures body fat percentage, BMI and body age, among other things. The nurse also measures blood pressure, cholesterol and long-term blood sugar (HbA1c).
A personal health profile for each employee
Each employee receives a personal health profile with all their results. The profile shows whether the values are in the normal range or the risk zone.
A motivational health conversation
The nurse goes through the results in a confidential and motivational health conversation and gives concrete recommendations. If the nurse finds values of concern, she explains them thoroughly and may refer the employee to their own doctor.
An anonymised health report for the company
With more than 20 participants, the company receives a graphic health report. The report shows average values and the overall state of health in the company.

The conversation is confidential
The conversation between the nurse and the employee is confidential. The company receives an overall health profile based on the anonymised results. You can use it to target your efforts on both prevention and health promotion.

Questions about health checks
How does a health check work?
A NurseCare nurse comes to your workplace. Each employee has their cholesterol, blood pressure, haemoglobin, long-term blood sugar (HbA1c) and BMI measured. The check takes 20 or 30 minutes. Afterwards, the nurse goes through the results with the employee in a confidential conversation. The employee also takes home a written health profile.
Where can my company order a health check?
You can order a health check from NurseCare by phone on +45 70 20 22 32 or via the contact form on our website. We agree on the date, scope and price based on the number of employees.
How much does a health check for employees cost?
At NurseCare, a health check costs from DKK 695 per employee. The price depends on the number of employees, the location and whether you choose the 20- or 30-minute health check. Contact us for a no-obligation quote - we usually reply the same day.
How many employees can you see in a day?
With one check every 20-30 minutes, one nurse typically sees 15-20 employees in a day. At larger workplaces, we send several nurses, so everyone can be seen within a few days.
Do employees need to fast?
No. The measurements require no fasting or other preparation - employees can come straight from work and go back again right afterwards.
What happens if an employee has raised values?
The nurse explains everything thoroughly during the confidential health conversation and refers the employee to their own doctor if needed. The company never has access to individual results.
Can we add a fitness test or skin check?
Yes. A fitness test (VO2 max) takes 5 extra minutes per employee, and a skin check assessed by a dermatologist takes 10 extra minutes. Both can be added to either the 20- or the 30-minute check.
Does the company receive a report?
With more than 20 participants, you receive an anonymised health report with average values showing the general state of health at your workplace - a good starting point for your health initiatives.
