Terms of purchase and cancellation
How your booking and payment work at NurseCare
This is an English translation of our Danish terms ("Handels- og afbestillingsvilkår"). The content is the same.
Price and payment. For vaccinations, blood tests and health checks at the clinic, you pay when you attend, once the service has been carried out - by card or MobilePay. Creating your booking is free. The price you see when you book is the price of the service. For vaccination, a basic fee is also payable per person per visit (DKK 150 for adults and DKK 99 for children under 15 - not for flu vaccination), which is also shown with the vaccines on our website. NurseCare's health services are VAT-exempt. If you are a member of Sygeforsikringen "danmark" and have given your consent, we apply for your subsidy on your behalf after the visit for the services that "danmark" covers (for example vaccinations). For services you pay for online when you order - prepaid blood sampling at the outpatient clinic and gift cards - the amount is charged straight away and you receive a receipt. Here too, the price shown is final.
Rebooking and cancellation. You can rebook or cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before your appointment via the link in your confirmation email or on +45 70 20 22 32. If you have prepaid (prepaid blood sampling at the outpatient clinic or a gift card) and cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment, you get the full amount back within 14 days to the same payment method, and you receive an email when the amount has been refunded. If you cancel less than 24 hours before, or do not turn up, we offer you one free rebooking within 3 months. If you still have your right of withdrawal (see below), you can always choose to withdraw instead and get the full amount back. If you book a clinic appointment without prepayment (vaccination, blood tests, health check), you only pay when you attend - there is no amount to refund if you cancel.
Your right of withdrawal. If you buy online and pay when you order (prepaid blood sampling at the outpatient clinic or a gift card), you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day of ordering under the Danish Consumer Contracts Act. You withdraw via our Withdraw from your agreement page (in your confirmation email, the link is called "Fortryd aftale"), by writing to support@nursecare.dk or by using the standard withdrawal form. It is enough that you have sent your notice before the deadline expires. If you withdraw before the service has been carried out or the gift card has been redeemed, you get the full amount back within 14 days. If your appointment is within 14 days of ordering, we ask you when booking to expressly request that the service is carried out at the chosen time and to acknowledge that the right of withdrawal ends when the service has been fully carried out; until then you can withdraw and get the full amount back. If your appointment is more than 14 days ahead, the withdrawal period expires on its own before the visit, after which the cancellation rules above apply. If you book a clinic appointment without prepayment (vaccination, blood tests, health check), you only pay when you attend, and you are free to rebook or cancel under the rules above.
If we have to cancel. If NurseCare has to cancel your appointment - for example because of illness or a failed vaccine delivery - we offer you a new appointment or a full refund. The choice is yours.
Complaints. If you are dissatisfied, always contact us first at support@nursecare.dk - we resolve most things quickly together. Complaints about the healthcare treatment (for example vaccination, blood test or health check) can be sent to the Danish Agency for Patient Complaints (Styrelsen for Patientklager) via the complaint form on borger.dk, and if you have been injured as a result of treatment, you can apply for compensation from Danish Patient Compensation (Patienterstatningen, patienterstatningen.dk). Complaints about purchases other than health services (for example gift cards) can - if the price is at least DKK 1,220 - be brought before the Mediation Team for Consumer Complaints (Mæglingsteamet for Forbrugerklager) at Nævnenes Hus, the Danish Appeals Boards Authority (naevneneshus.dk). Complaints about the payment itself can be sent to the payment provider; for MobilePay to klage@vippsmobilepay.com.
Age limit. We do not take blood samples from people under 18.
Right to decline or refer. For medical reasons, our healthcare staff may choose not to take a blood sample when you attend, or may refer you elsewhere. If you have prepaid, we refund the full amount.
